Project Management
•Own end-to-end management of R&D and new product development projects, from feasibility to commercialization, including technology transfer and production scale-up.
•Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables; develop project plans and manage budgets and resources to deliver on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
•Drive projects through the Stage-Gate process, preparing stage-review materials and proactively managing risks and issues.
•Lead cross-functional project teams across R&D, Production, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, and Sales, as well as global R&D partners.
•Track project KPIs, report progress and recommendations to management, and continuously improve project documentation, processes, and tools.
Product Development & Research
•Design, execute, and analyze laboratory and application studies on pet food palatants, antioxidants, antimicrobials, and functional ingredients.
•Develop, evaluate, and optimize formulations to improve palatability, preservation, and overall product performance.
•Identify new ingredients, technologies, and innovation opportunities, and collaborate with internal and external partners to generate actionable technical insights.
Technical Support & Collaboration
•Partner with Sales and Technical Service teams to provide scientific support and technical solutions for customer challenges in palatability and preservation.
•Deliver product training and technical presentations, and participate in customer visits, technical discussions, and industry events as required.
Data Analysis & Communication
•Analyze experimental data using appropriate statistical methods, and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports and presentations.
•Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, quality, and intellectual property requirements.

•Ph.D. in Animal Science, Nutrition, Food Science, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field; Master\'s degree with extensive relevant experience will also be considered.
•3+ years of R&D experience (Ph.D.) or 5+ years (Master\'s), with hands-on ability to independently design and execute experiments and analyze data statistically.
•2+ years of end-to-end R&D or new product development project management experience, covering planning, budgeting, milestones, risks, and stakeholders.
•Familiarity with Stage-Gate or similar processes and project management tools (e.g., MS Project); PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
•Experience in pet food, pet or animal nutrition, feed additives, or food ingredients is preferred; knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and laboratory best practices is an advantage.
•Strong scientific mindset and problem-solving skills; proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
•Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and drive results without direct authority.
•Fluent Mandarin Chinese and good written and spoken English.
